Tally is a narrow wheeled tower carrying more than a dozen high resolution cameras that read shelf labels and gauge stock depth as it passes. It drives well below walking pace on a stored store map, turning in place in tight aisles and working during trading hours or overnight. Results go to store staff as pick lists of gaps and pricing errors, and an option adds radio frequency identification reading. Simbe was founded in 2014 and Tally runs in around a thousand stores.
