ATRIS is a heavy four wheeled outdoor patrol robot with a raised sensor head, built for perimeter and facility rounds in industrial settings. It drives mapped patrol routes autonomously, streaming panoramic and thermal video to a control room and flagging intruders, hotspots and anomalies. Operators can take manual control and speak through the robot. It is deployed at Chinese industrial parks, electrical substations and campuses, and a variant was used for temperature screening patrols during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Of note
- Used for outdoor security patrols at Chinese industrial parks and electrical substations.
- A pandemic variant carried thermal screening and public address equipment.
- Built by UBTECH Robotics of Shenzhen, which also produces humanoid and education robots.
