Apptronik built Apollo on lessons from NASA's Valkyrie programme at the University of Texas. Its swappable batteries and friendly proportions target warehouse and factory work; Mercedes-Benz began piloting it in 2024 and returned as an investor, and Google DeepMind partnered on its intelligence.
