Neo is a ride on sized scrubber with separate solution and recovery tanks, converted into a robot by a sensor mast and autonomy software. Lidar and 3D cameras give 360 degree coverage so it avoids shoppers, pallets and cleaning staff while following stored plans. Cleaning reports and coverage maps go to facility managers, and staff can still drive it manually. Avidbots was founded in Kitchener, Ontario in 2014, and Neo units clean airports, warehouses, malls, hospitals and factories.
