Roxo was a tall wheeled delivery robot derived from DEKA's iBot wheelchair technology, which gave it powered wheel clusters able to balance, mount kerbs and climb steps to a front door. It navigated with cameras and lidar and was supervised by human minders during trials. FedEx pitched it for same day retail and pharmacy deliveries in suburban neighbourhoods. The company shut the programme down in October 2022 as part of a wider cost review.
