The R3 Scrub Pro has a stainless steel chassis, cylindrical brushes and two side brushes that clean right up to walls and skirting. Three dimensional vision sensors detect obstacles including glass and mirrors, which are common failure cases for cleaning robots in malls and offices. Instead of teaching routes by driving, cleaners assign work by tapping physical tags placed around the building. LionsBot grew out of research at the National University of Singapore and launched the R3 range in 2023.
