The OTTO 1500 is a flat deck industrial mobile robot the size of a small pallet truck, able to turn in place under load. Safety lidar, four depth cameras and an inertial unit feed SLAM navigation and traffic control by a fleet manager, so it shares aisles with forklifts and staff. Typical work is moving raw material, work in progress and finished pallets between production cells and warehouses. OTTO Motors grew out of Clearpath Robotics in Kitchener, Ontario and became part of Rockwell Automation in 2023.
