Bittle is a 280 gram quadruped built around Petoi's Arduino compatible NyBoard, with nine servo driven joints and an inertial sensor that lets it walk, trot and recover from being pushed. Users program it with block based coding, the Arduino environment or a Python interface, and can add a Raspberry Pi, camera or voice module for higher level behaviour. It was funded on Kickstarter in October 2020, raising more than half a million dollars, and is sold worldwide for classroom and hobby use.
