Vision 60 has twelve direct drive electric joints, a sealed IP67 body and a design that lets it keep walking with a damaged leg or after being flipped over. Ghost Robotics built the control stack around proprioceptive sensing so the robot can walk without vision, and adds cameras, lidar and radios as mission payloads. United States Air Force security squadrons have used it for perimeter patrols, most publicly at Tyndall Air Force Base from 2020, and third parties have fitted it with tethers, radios and weapon mounts.
