Robotti is a wheeled implement carrier with a wide stance that straddles crop beds, carrying standard three point hitch tools and a power take off. Diesel power and hydraulic drive give it enough capacity to pull seed drills, hoes and sprayers at working speeds. Field boundaries and tracks are planned in software, and the machine then works unattended with safety lidar, bumpers and emergency stops, monitored from a phone or laptop. Growers use it for seeding, mechanical weeding and spot spraying in row crops.
Of note
- Sold commercially in Europe as a CE marked autonomous field machine.
- Used for seeding, mechanical weeding and precision spraying in vegetables and arable crops.
- Developed in Denmark out of research at Aarhus University.
