CivDot is a compact four wheeled rover that takes a list of surveyed coordinates and drives to each one in turn, dropping a paint mark at centimetre accuracy. Corrected satellite positioning provides the reference, so a single operator can lay out a site that would otherwise need a survey crew with stakes and tapes. It is designed for the repetitive point marking that dominates utility scale solar and infrastructure earthworks. Contractors use it on solar farms, roads and pipeline corridors.
