Reachy 2 is 166 centimetres tall, weighs 50 kilograms and has 18 degrees of freedom split between two seven-degree-of-freedom arms built from parallel joints, a three-axis neck and an omnidirectional wheeled base. Each arm carries three kilograms, and the hardware designs and software are published openly so buyers can modify or reproduce parts. It is commonly driven either by learned policies or by a virtual reality teleoperation rig that maps an operator's arms onto the robot. Pollen Robotics was acquired by Hugging Face in April 2025, which continues to sell the robot to research groups and companies.
