The LaserWeeder is a wheeled gantry implement carrying rows of cameras and laser modules under a shroud. Deep learning models classify every plant in view as crop or weed, then steer laser beams onto the weed growing points, killing them without disturbing soil or applying herbicide. A tractor pulls and powers the unit while an operator monitors from the cab, and Carbon Robotics also sells an autonomy kit so the tractor can drive itself. It works vegetable and specialty crop fields.
