NEO weighs about 30 kilograms and is built from knitted covers over 3D lattice polymer structures, keeping it light and quiet at a rated 22 decibels. Instead of geared joints at the limbs it uses a tendon drive pulling cables from high torque density motors, which lets it lift around 70 kilograms and carry about 25. Onboard speech and vision models handle known chores, and for anything it has not learned owners can schedule a 1X teleoperator to drive it. 1X opened orders in October 2025 at 20,000 dollars outright or 499 dollars a month, with first home deliveries promised in the United States during 2026.
