RoBee has a humanoid torso, head and two arms on a differential drive wheeled base, with adjustable stature between 162 and 190 centimetres and a mass of up to 180 kilograms. Each arm carries five kilograms and positions to about a millimetre, and the robot moves at up to 1.2 metres per second for as long as eight hours per charge. It navigates with lidar and cameras and holds spoken conversations through an integrated voice system, with thermal imaging available as an option. Oversonic has announced deployments in Italian manufacturing and healthcare, including an agreement to supply customised RoBee units to STMicroelectronics semiconductor plants.
