Serve Gen3 is a four wheeled insulated cargo box on a sidewalk chassis, built to run city blocks rather than closed campuses. Onboard computing handles perception and path planning, and remote staff assist when the robot meets an obstruction it cannot resolve. Orders are placed through delivery apps and the lid unlocks for the customer at the kerb. The robots work Los Angeles and other United States metro markets alongside Uber Eats.

- Cargo bin holds four sixteen inch pizzas, about fifteen percent more volume than the prior generation.
- Serve deployed its 1,000th robot and has since reported 2,000 robots operating on the Uber Eats platform.
- Grew out of the Postmates X robotics group before becoming an independent public company.
