WEILAN, a company based in Nanjing, builds the AlphaDog series around electric joint actuators, onboard cameras and 5G connectivity for remote operation. The range covers small education units and larger platforms for patrol and delivery, all controlled by an onboard computer with following and obstacle avoidance. At its 2021 launch the company stated a top speed of about fifteen kilometres per hour.
