Mini Pupper 2 descends from the Stanford Pupper design and ships as a kit with twelve servo driven joints, a Raspberry Pi compute module, a small display face and an optional lidar. Its software runs ROS 2 with simultaneous localisation and mapping and navigation examples, plus interfaces for vision and voice, so it can carry a full robotics course on cheap hardware. MangDang funded it on Kickstarter in late 2022 and sells both assembled and self build versions.
