AutonomyOnboard virtual model and torque control

StarlETH used series elastic actuators, motors coupled to their joints through springs, which let it absorb impacts and estimate joint torque without separate force sensors. Onboard computers ran a virtual model controller that produced walking, trotting and jumping, and the machine was tested on rubble, slopes and stairs. It was the direct predecessor of ANYmal and of the ANYdrive actuator that ANYbotics later commercialised.
